Edmac Europe NV consists of 2 operational entities, each with its own opportunities and challenges. These entities are active in the (online) sales and service of compressors and compressor parts. POSITION

In the position of Human Resources Manager it will be your mission to act as a strategic business partner. You provide leadership and direction for all people related activities that affect the development and attainment of the company strategy and goals.

More specifically you will provide direction and assistance in the areas of recruitment and retention, staff and organizational development, competence development and performance management.

You will act as a role model and motivate and stimulate the people to follow the Atlas Copco values and way of working.

The main responsibilities of this position are to:

  • Support the organization in hiring the right people and provide the new employees with an effective induction program.
  • Promote the #neverstoplearning culture: Develop, maintain and update competence development programs based on competence gap analysis ensuring that training and development activities support the business goals.
  • Through various initiatives, help create a positive working environment where people feel encouraged, trusted and accepted.
  • You will support the management driving diversity and inclusion activities in the organizations.
  • Be the point of contact for the employees regarding HR-related topics, e.g. answering questions regarding sick leave, holidays, maternity/parental leave, child allowances, insurance packages, mobile phone, etc.
  • Liaise with accounting and finance on HR related matters. Develop and revise harmonized policies and procedures compliant with local, state, and federal regulations ensuring alignment with Atlas Copco principles and guidelines.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly HR reports, headcount evolution, key performance indicators, people management, manpower efficiency and others as assigned or as relevant to the organization.
  • Be responsible for the administration of the personnel files, ensuring that all employee records are up to date.
  • Drive and improve the health and safety pillar within Edmac Europe NV.
  • Process the monthly payroll for the 2 operational entities (50 people) in collaboration with the social secretariat.

In this position you report to the General Manager Edmac Global.

 

 

PROFILE

We are looking for an enthusiastic, no-nonsense professional with a background in HR:

– Strong collaboration, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

– You are a positive thinking person with good knowledge of the social law and payroll matters.

– You love taking initiative (to launch new ideas, tackle emerging issues)

– Punctual and able to work independently.

– You should be able to work under pressure with a commitment towards the internal deadlines.

– Strong in administration – creative in finding solutions.

– Bachelor degree or equivalent through experience.

– 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function.

– Team-player & stress-resistant.

– Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
